Not Your Average Netizens
The OGs of K-pop and Korean entertainment podcasts since 2014. This is a safe space for open and mature discussions about K-pop stuff we love, hate, or love to hate. No sugar coating here, but we hope you can relate to our views even if you disagree with some of them. Above all, we want to make Kpop fun and have fun while doing it! We are made up of netizens from all over the world and we gather weekly in our spare time. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don’t, and we hope that you find yourself in each of our voices.

On this episode we tried not to let BTS dominate the podcast…and failed. Of course, about 70% of the conversation is about racial dynamics in K-pop, so we can probably be forgiven. We also wax poetic about the atrociousness of the term “reggae hair,” and just how much better will Big Bang sound without Seungri? Also, get ready to put your cringe hats on, because Mnet has a hip-hop survival show in the works. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think about the show.

It’s the definitive K-pop list of the decade! Well, in our minds it is. Join Ashe, Nat and Jemin as they debate and create Not Your Average Netizens Top 100 K-pop Songs of the Decade. It’s so colossal we needed two podcasts to record it all! In Part One, we whittle down an unwieldy collection of our favorite songs down to the best 100, and battle over our individual picks. Part Two documents the considerable struggle of assigning our favorites their all-important number on the list. Will we prevail in formulating the ultimate K-pop of the decade primer, or lose our sanity in the process? Only one way to find out! Check out both episodes and let us know what you think. Do you agree with our picks? What would you put in their place? Let us know, and don’t forget to listen, like and share the episode on Soundcloud!
